I've been to the gigabyte site download section & grabbed the raid driver as I don't have the CD that came with the board.

I thought it would create its own floppy but it wasn't that easy. The download has is a piece of software that checks the array from within windows. The drivers are a side dish.

Anyway I found what I think are the drivers for XP. Three files.
1/ FASTTRACK.cat 2/ FASTTRACK.inf 3/ FASTTRACK.sys

Does that look right? I'm after the driver to be able to set up the system from scratch.

Also should I use the WHQL XP driver or just the XP driver? It has both in the folder. The XP driver is about 2 or 3 weeks newer than the WHQL XP.

If you want to create a floppy, you need the file called txtsetup.oem, and then copy the WinXP folder in the directory you found txtsetup.oem onto the floppy. Then press F6 when starting setup and select "WinXP MBFasttrack133" or something.

Thanx champ2005. Forgot about this thread. Got it sorted 3 weeks ago. All set up with raid0. I went with the latest driver & all is OK. :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
