that way i still install it if something hapends to my cd

you mean the windows cd ? if so any copying prgram like nero or imgburn (i would use that nero blows) would copy it, if you mean the windows install on the hard drive something like norton ghost or acronis image would be your best bet

DriveImage XML for backup/imaging stuff

and pretty much any burning program out there can copy a cd, CDBurner XP is good.

All drive manufacturers have free tools to clone a hard drive to another if that is what you are looking to do.
