Question

For some reason after I install 3d studio max on my xp-pro OS, I get this message when I try to run it:


A liscense error has occured. Please restart your system to initialize the lisense mamagement system. [error 7.1.29].

I've tried restarting but it does not help. Are there any patches out there for running this program on xp? Thanks.

did u you try the compatibily wizard???? lol never know...

Yeah, tried it on every known setting. I had it working fine in win2000 so I guess it's just another on the long list of incompatiable programs. What's so hard about making windows work with everything the previous versions did?
