I have two seperate HD on my XP machine I am thinking of reinstalling XP on my empty drive and changing it to my C drive. What I would like to know is will the Transfer Wizard then allow me to migrate the info on my other HD over to the new drive for the programs and settings that I want moved so that I don't have to go and reinstall or rest certain rules?

Thanks

Theoretically it should do what you want.

In reallity?

good luck. I've never gotten the damn thing to work right, plus its slow as hell.

Yea, it'll work. I do it all the time when I reinstall. I just backup all my settings (not installed apps-just settings) and reformat. Of course, I have to reinstall all my apps, but hey! Thats what a computer is for right? to kill time. :p

You should have no problem. If you play with the wizard for a few mins you will figure it out, its very straight forward.

Thanks! :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
