Question for those who cant acess Windows update

I also cant access windows update, i need to ask this: those anyone of those who cant access windows update have there program files directory change to another location??? I have friends that has the corporate (devilsown) iand they CAN enter winupdate without any problem, of those who cant access the only thing that is similar is they have move the program files directory to another location. Does anyone knows about this??

I had been accessing Windows Update by typing in the web addy, but it seems to freeze lately--but if I just click on the windows update icon in my start menu, it takes me right there, no prob. 🙂 Quickie edit here--thought I might add that you may want to post this in the XP applications forum--😀
