question about ram.

ok i have a old gutted hp its literlay just the mobo on a metal rack hehe but all my sdram is at my parents house (50 min drive) but i do have alot of pc2100 ram. can i put this in it and just run it slower or something or will it hurt the ram. (its being saves for a real server hehe)

Short answer: NO.

There was a very short period of time where there were mobo's manufactured that accepted both sd and dd ram. You'll have to google your motherboard model.

It depends...Will the motherboard support that type of RAM? If so, it shouldnt be a problem.

akk i know is its an ho and it has a cleron proc in it.. i think that answers my question sigh have to make the drive home and get the sdram. hehe
