GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

How do I fix this??

did you install Q3 in a diffrent drive and Q3A in the 2nd one?you should install both in the same folder(I think)

I think "GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem" is the culprit.

Just a short while ago I decided to upgrade my video drivers and Direct X. I installed my vid drivers first then DX9 which I guess was a mistake. I think I had a similiar error with Q3. All I did to fix it was reinstall my vid drivers and Q3 started right up. Hopefully this will fix it.

yeah dx9 was the culprit. I went to openglsetup.com or something like that and downloaded the opengl drivers for the vid card and it all works good now.

Thanks.

James

I wouldnt've installed the drivers from GL Setup myself... I would've downloaded the latest detonators from nvidia.com and installed them (that would've installed openGL correctly)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
