Purchasing Windows XP OEM / DSP

I was wondering what exactly DSP was when purchasing Windows XP online. When they say DSP does that mean that Im getting exactly what is seen in stores like Best Buy? Or is something different?

Ive also found the DSP price a lot lower ($139) than the retail price ($299).

Help!!! Eeeeek!

DSP is the sealed OEM packaging. You don't get a box like in the store. Just the book and CD wrapped in plastic.

Ok. So is it better to just buy the stuff out of the store. Or buy the DSP copy online? I mean, am I losing anything if I buy the DSP copy?

If it is a big savings, go for the DSP. Otherwise go for the boxed product. You really don't miss out on anything that I know of with DSP except for the box. (could be wrong) If there is more to miss, someone will post it here.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
