Looking into upgrading my video card and with it my PSU soon and I have a micro ATX mobo. Wondering if a regular ATX PSU would be able to power the micro board so long as it I use a big enough case to fit the ATX PSU. The reason I ask is because MicroATX PSUs dont get much higher than 350 watts and that just isnt enough these days. Wouldnt really like to replace my board if i didnt have to. Thanks

Not a problem with the PSU as long as it is ATX form your fine.

Generally what Shamas said, but some of the higher power ATX poweer supplies are physically bigger. They mount in the same cut out, support any ATX MB but may interfere with HSF or airflow in a micro ATX case. Especially if you have a large after market HSF.

Look up the dimensions on the new PSU and see how tight a squeeze it will be in a micro case.

I think i'll just buy an ATX case that supports micro atx to give all my stuff some breathing room.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
