However as it won't be running at it's native resolution, the image on an LCD would look pretty horrible. Also remember you'll need an external audio output too, unless your monitor has speakers you can connect the PS2 to.
how horrible... like unplayable horrible? it says its high resolution...and what do you mean PAL and NTSC i know those are the video things for the different countries...my monitor is made by a korean company but the ps2 will be an american one
What you need is a Scan Converter that will allow you to output at the native resolution of the monitor. I know Extron makes good ones, but they are probably kind of pricey.
