Proxy bypass?

Can't remember if i posted here or not in the end.. Had a dilemma a while back, was trying to find a way to bypass the proxy on my uni connection, because tbf.. I'm bored of just being able to surf and use msn (to a limited functionality).. now I'm back here, and it's buggin' me again!

Anyone know of a way to get round this? Some people have sent me links to programs before but i had no clue how to use 'em or anything..

Any ideas would be awesome
