Which one do you prefer, I seem to like Peerguardian, but proto walls autostart and minimize to systray is pretty nice too.

protowall doesnt eat cpu like peer does on mine.. but. for some reason protowall isnt letting my ip renew so i need top sort through that.

Protowall in the past. Now I just make sure when I download off a site their server has up-to-date AP2P lists. :)

Neither will actually make you "safe" and in the end will slow everything down as your basically checking 1/2 the net against a list of ip's that may or may not be what your actually "protecting" yourself from. You would be far better using something like freenet if your that paranoid about what your downloading. ;)

I have the peerguardian list implemented using iptables in my linux box. It just wasted too much CPU running on my desktop.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
