program for resizing photos (in batches)

Hi, I have lots of 5 megapixel pictures from my digital camera and i want to resize them all to like 2 megapixels (1600 x1200). I could do it manually but I want a program that does it in batches so it will save time. Any1 have ideas?????

It can be done in Photoshop via actions or you can do it in ACDsee ...
