hi all. i was wondering if there r any programs out there for beginers that r easy to use to help ppl make there own type of program or game.

Visual Basic is very easy to start off with. Don't expect to make any games though. VB is too slow for that (at least beyond very simple games).

I've built for myself using VB6.0 an mp3 selector .. very nice indeed ..

Absolutely true. Learn the basics of programming with VB6. It's what's called a "high level" programming language - this means that it's close to just typing plain english in the code window. (The term can be a bit confusing, I know ^_^;; ).

It's a great learning language. Learn to do fun stuff with VB6 and you'll be well on your way to programming even more stuff in languages such as C++ and various web languages.
