Problems with Parallel Port!

I'm trying to access my MP3 Player on my P.C.
It's a MP-F20 by MPMAN

The closest drivers I can find are Win2000 but I still get the same error 'Parallel Port Drivers can not be opened'

I've e-mailed the makers, queering them about XP drivers but received no response.

I also have Cubase 5.0 put that doesn't work because Windows can't access the dungle which is plugged into the printer port.

I've tried changing 'Enable P&P in OS' to 'No' but to no avail.

could you access the player using a previous operating system?

If so you could try compatability mode, R click the player software select properties > compatability and try different o/s modes.

Yes, when I had Windows 98 installed.

Now, I've tried what you suggested, using compatibility mode and still no joy. It as though the Parallel port drivers for XP aren't back-compatible.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
