Problems with older games

Hi all,

I have a bunch of games on steam that are older (2007 and older). I really do like playing these games multiple times over. I have noticed that with my new gaming rig (Spec'ed below), I cannot seem to play these games properly.

One locks up, other is soo choppy, almost all have some sort of bugs that I never seen before on my older setups.

I don't really have a question, I guess. Just frustrated that my "classic" games aren't supported with the new gear.

Oh well.
