Problems with Burn-Proof in Nero under WinXP

Hi to all. I'm wonder if anyone could tell me what should i do: I have cd-recorder TEAC CD-W516EB, and in NERO ver. ex. 5.5.2.3, 5.5.5.1 or even the latest 5.5.7.8 i have the same problem: burn-proof doesn't work (buffer underrun-message). Under Win2k or Win98 i hadn't so kind of problem. I have installed the newest aspi layer drivers, but it didn't help.
I tried others programmes, ex. WinOn CD 5 Power edition and there burn-proof works normally.
So what should i do??? Help, 'cos I get used to Ahead Nero programme and i wish i could use it normally.

Just wondering, but is your CD-Burning Service Started in the Services admin tool? If you're not sure, Start > Run > services.msc

Look for CD-Burning Service, and disable it.

Not sure that's the problem, Nero is actually supposed to turn it off, but it might still be on for some odd reasons...
