problems setting up a CS server , IPX have anything to do with it?

hey, when I try to set up a CS server it says something about could not find IPX, disabling IPX.. appearantly winXP doesnt have IPX protocol, could this affect my game hosting capabilities? (I am also using a dsl router, but i delt with all that part already)

Just right click the connection that needs ipx, click add, protocol and add IPX (called NWLINK IPX/SPX/NETBIOS.... in XP)
