Problems saving webpages in Internet Explorer

I've got the latest (ver 6 I think) from SP 1.

When I try to save pages, it won't let me or it'll save 35% and then it'll say the webpage can't be saved at the current location.

I've tried other locations but that doesn't work either.

Any ideas?

Does it change anything if I empty some IE folders.

Like, are there any consequences?

C:\Documents and Settings\YOU\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files.

This folder needs to be emptied regularly for IE to keep working properly. When I used IE I did it about once a month. Nothing bad will happen. It just starts to fill up again & you will have to log onto some sites again.

Try going to Internet Options - Programs Tab & Click on "Reset Web Settings". This may or may not help - it cannot hurt. You can then go to the ADVANCED tab and put a tick in "Empty Temporary Internet Files Folder When Browser Is Closed."

It could very well be SP1 did you have this prob before you installed it ??

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
