Hi,

I am using Windows XP Pro. And I am having problem with the menu bar that can only display 2 columns. (start->applicatoin)

So when I install too many softwares, that will cause all the new program short-cut unable to see.

Can anyone help? Thank you.

Welcome here,
you could try rightclick tasbar - properties - startmenu - customize - advanced - check 'scroll programs'
or best idea probably to create some subfolders (C:\Documents and Settings\username\startmenu\programs and C:\Documents and Settings\All users\startmenu\programs)

I got another question after I installed Service Pack 1.
After installed Service Pack 1, I realised all the pre-sp1 hotfix in add/remove are gone.
However, there are still many folders named $NtUninstallQ282010$ $NtUninstallQ307274$ ... etc. (31 of them)
Can I delete those? They are around 34MB.

Thanks.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
