Problem with Sound Blaster Live! PLayer 5.1 after sleep-mode

When my computer comes back from sleep mode, the sound card is not working. It only gives weird scratching. This happend both in Win XP and win2k.
I have Abit kt7a-raid, Thunderbird 1 ghz, Nvidia GF2 PRO.
I have only installed the drivers and AudioHQ for the SB card.
Anyone knows how to stop this from happening ?

via 686 + SB Live = bad things.

i had the same matchup and had to get new audio. there's a patch that may help from viahardware.com
