Problem with logging in to Router

I am new to this site and was wondering if I could get help connecting to my Linksys 1-port Router (Model# BEFSR11). Whenever I try connecting to my router's ip, i.e. 192.168.1.1, I am unable to enter the password because Internet Explorer presses enter for me. I get the error message "401 Authorization Required". Any help would be appreciated.

It might have stored your password as just an "Enter."

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Content>Auto Complete>Clear Passwords

Clear your cache too (just in case), restart IE and try again.
