I have a recurring problem with turning off my computer in windows xp. (no such problem with the two other operating systems, me and 2000 present on same pc).
The problem is very simple: When I order the pc to turn itself off, it does a restart instead. Sometimes it helps, when I log off as a user, and turn it off from the user choice screen.
Anybody has an idea what could cause that strange behaviour?
I had the same problem a couple of months ago, then it disappeared without me doing anything about it. But now it's back and really annoying.
