No matter what advice I'm given about how to ensure maximised windows I just cant get anything to work. The problem is when I right click a link and select 'open in new window' it will simply not open maximised - it's always a little half sized window in the middle of the screen and it's driving me nuts!!!

Has anyone else had this or do you know how to overcome it?

k...this wont make it open "maximized" but it will be pretty darn close. Open IE and go to any page. Then shift+click a link and it should open in a new window. Then close the original window. now use the little arrow and drag the lower right corner to make the screen as big as you want (you can get pretty close to maximized) and then hold shift (or ctrl, i forget which one) and press the X in the top right corner. Next time all shoud be good

Yahooooooooooooooooooooooooo

It works, it works.
Oh thank you for saving my sanity. Ctrl & close on a dragged window and it worked fine.
😀
Many thanks.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
