Problem deleting files

I am having problems deleting files in some folders.
These are not special folders or windows protected
folders, just ordinary ones that I have created.

When I try I get the error message

cant delete X: it is being used by another program or user

This has been going on for a week or so. I cant delete the
folder or move files out of the folder.

Is there any way of repairing this ?

Try running a Disk Check and then try deleting them,I have had this problem once or twice myself.

If that doesn't work use an ftp program like Flash-Fxp it's works everytime.

Any ftp client will work just punch in 127.0.0.0 for the address to connect to as it's the default address for all systems when connecting to yourself.
