Hi all,
I have a bunch of music and DVDs on my HTPC. If there any way (setting or software) that would prevent the accidental deletion of these files.
The recycle bin wouldn't work because a DVD folder can be 7+ gig big and to make a bin that would hold that much data would not be practical (6 DVDs were recently accidentally deleted).
File recovery software (in case of deletion) works, but not real well. After recovering a DVD this way, the ifo has to be recreated.
I was more looking for a setting or software that allows you to specify a drive or even better, a folder, that would prevent a file from being deleted or being moved to the recycle bin.
BTW, WinXP Home SP1.
TIA
