Powerpoint XP

Hi Guys.
I have powerpoint XP but when I try to run it all I get is the message"the operating system is not configured to run this aplication"...

Any ideas?

this might sound stupid, but have you tried completely re-installing powerpoint XP, or getting a copy of office 2002 and just installing powerpoint from there?

I havent even instaled it yet,, when I run the instal programe it just keeps coming up with the error message...

hmmm, do you have full access to install programs? and have you tried running the install straight from the cd and not the autorun
