Power Users in XP Home

Does anyone know what happened to the power user account type in the Home edition of XP? My brother-in-laws kids can't save any of their games with the limited account type, so have to play the game in their fathers login. So much for security!!

Anyway, if Microsoft decided to remove it from the XP Home edition, is their any way to restore it? Either thru 3rd party or registry hack?

Thanks

If you boot up into safe mode(F8 at startup) all the security features are there, you just can't access them out side of safe mode.

Would I then be able to modify an existing user account of limited to allow saving of games files to the hard drive? Cause that essentially I'm looking to do.

I would think that you could, you should be able to make power user accounts or whatever you want.

Tried it and in Safe Mode only the Limited and Administrator account types were available.

If anyone knows of any other way to restore the Power User account type to XP Home edition please let me know.

Thanks

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
