power to disconnect in msn wtf!!!

ok, this is incredibly freaky...im using msn messenger 6.1, so is a friend of mine in chile. for some weird reason which im not able to figure out, he has the "power" to disconnect ppl. he doesnt have a hack or anything like that. whenever he opens a conversation window with someone (not even talking, just opening the window), then changes his nickname, he can disconnect the person! its really really weird, we've tried it with his pc and me in different pc's and it always works....anyone have an explaination for this?

It may be quite an old bug resurrected. There was a bug in the older MSN clients where-by changing your nick to some ASCII - don't remember what exactly - and everyone on your nick list's MSN client would crash, maybe there's a new version that just disconnects people.. ?

yes there was old things like that that can be found at http://mess.be but mostly they dont work anymore

The new one doesnt crash gAIM, i should snag the code next time someone tries.
