Im having problems logging into a post-nuke site, it seems to be a cookie related issue becuause it takes my login info but just puts me back to the main screen..i deleted all my cookies manually and all the temp files. Also i tried turning off cookies, im kinda stumped here as to whats going on..any help would be appreciated.

Uh, perhaps try asking the site admin via e-mail? I don't mean to be harsh, but this is not a WinXP-related support question...why post it here? Anyway, my guess to your issue is a problem with the site not authenticating you properly for some reason.

you will probably find that this is to do with the domain that the site has its cookies set up for. make sure that you are using the actual url when you login or it will keep happeing if it is using a redirect url.

Well, i turned my cookies off in my browser, and it still did this, this is an xp related issue becuz this just started happening when i installed windows xp on my computer, other ppl with windows xp can login to the site fine, so im wondering what the deal is..

Login (cookies refused)

Hi!

I have the same problem.
When I try to login in some sites, like reading yahoo mail
or logon on forum sites, it remains in the main page, or gives an error "Cookies Refused".
I've turned all security down, so it should accept all cookies, and disabled my firewall.
I have 2 PC's with XP installed in the same network.
But after a while only one of them got this problem, and it seems to be a IE bug. I tried in Opera and it happen again, but with Netscape it works fine! So it's a IE6 problem, I don't know why, but cookie stop working...

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
