Ports- How do you open and close them?

I would assume you are talking about forwarding ports on a router. If so, what brand router is it?

Meh dont care much about viruses, i must have quite a few, and trojens aint that bad compared to alot of others. Anyway, I wanna know cos I need thease ports open to host a multiplayer game.

My router is a D-Link DSL-504

Trojans are bad. Period.

To forward a port, go to you router's configuration interface (usually 192.168.1.1 in the browser or so). There should be a link called Port Forwarding or Virtual Server or something like that. Also look in your manual. It's there.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
