Hi everyone,
Here's my problem:
I have an Oracle database running on Unix and a set of Unix (Korn Shell) scripts communicating with the database. I need to port the database and the scripts to a Windows 2000 Server.

I'm exploring the option to use Microsoft Services for Unix 3.5

Can someone tell me if it's possible to make this system work ?
Will I be able to use the same Unix scripts to communicate with the Oracle database once I move it to Windows ?
Is it possible at all to establish such connectivity between the scripts running in the SFU environment and a database running in the Windows subsystem on the same machine?

Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to help me,
Mila

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
