pmai.dll

Today, i upgraded to AVG 8.0.
Now i keep on getting a pmai.dll threat detected.
Clicking ignore or remove does not solve the problem
I get 4 or 5 of the same pmai.dll problems at the same time.

Any ideas on how to fix this or what it is.

Google had nothing.

Post a Hijackthis log.. have you run a scan with other anti-spyware?


AVG 8.0 has some minor issues. it has many false positives with Spywareblaster software installed on a xp machine. atleast on one of my notebooks. regarding ActiveX control issues.

boot into safe mode and delete it, if you are using system restore i would suggest deleting it in there too
