Pls Help....Installing XP

My friend is trying to install XP Home....

He has formateed his Hard Drive, etc (even though he didn't have to) and his computer has all the requirements and more to run XP....

It runs from the cd and enters the blue screen where it loads all the drivers but then freezes when it gets to the starting windows point (still in blue screen setup)

I have upgraded his bios.....

Could anyone pls help.....any answers really appreciated.

I'm don't know what the problem could be. You might try copying all the installation files to the hard drive first and running it from there. You'll need to copy the entire 'i386' folder over and run the file 'winnt.exe.'
