Help!
I can burn using my writer but i just can't read cd's using it! I have to cd drives. The first is a Plextor 12/10/32a and the second is a Delta 52x. I can read with the delta.. when i put the cd in the writer i can't read it! Any idea's on what's wrong?

You have the latest firmware upgrade... try rolling that back one or two and see if that helps.

What kind of motherboard do you have? Do you have that bios up-to-date? Newest IDE drivers for your board? If you have the VIA chipset, are your 4in1's current? If so, try the mini-port drivers<<(set a restore point first if you go this route).

What burning software are you using? I noticed at the plextor site that there are upgrades for their software available.

After trying some of these things, or during the process, go to the Plextor site and send a message to their tech support, they may know about this and already have a canned solution for you.
