I want to start playing DVD’S on my pc ,I use wmp for music ,I have never played DVD’S on my pc before.can someone tell me everything I will need to play them?
I know obviously I need a DVD player ,but will I need additional codecs too?

The codecs are usually included when you get some DVD software, infact they usually include the codecs necessary to play DVDs in frontend application such as windows media player and Zoom Player.

The only additional software you might need is something like DVD Region Free etc.

Yeah, it's a nifty little app. Works on almost any OS too. 🙂

One warning. The OEM DVD players usually do not have any software with them. The retail version will usually include player (and also if applicable burner) software. No big deal considering how much freeware is available on the web.

Your first comment on seeing a DVD playing on your high resolution monitor will be "WOW". 🙂 Enjoy.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
