I am using PowerDVDxp to play DVDs on my computer but I find they are always too dark. Is there a way of turning up the brightness in some way whilst playing these DVDs. My screen settings are fine for everything else.

I am using WinDVD atm, but I am pretty sure PowerDVD has an option for brightness in its settings somewhere.

Feature to adjust brightness is only available, if u are using a Nvidia Vid card, then u have to go in Power DVD config and enable Hardware Accelerator.

refer to Power DVD's help menu

Thanks, I am using a Voodoo 3000 card with Windows XP drivers. However, having tried all the settings I have now found the option to increase colour and brightness in PowerDVD. The options were blanked out, but opened up when the DVD started.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
