Photoshop Image size

I'm new to Photoshop but....
Using Photoshop, how do you keep the image size as it is and make the file size smaller in kbs ? for web purpose ? Thanks

Save For Web from the File menu (i think)...i use the key combo, Shift+Ctrl+Alt+S brings up the window for it. you can fiddle around w/ the image quality settings for GIFs, JPGs, and PNGs in there, depending on what you want, quality you want, and size you want...
