I remember sometime last year I talked about a photography project I was going to start...if anyone remembers. Either way, it took me this long to start it. :D

I know this is kind of a shameless plug, but if you care to, please check it out and tell me what you think! :)

Click on " List all deviations " of view a list of my stuff.

Thanks bundles!

What camera are you using? If you are using film, what scanner?

I didn't look through your whole portfolio but you seem to be using B&W, which I think helps with the gritty desolate mood you seem to be aiming for...

But it might be more of a challenge pursuing this in colour. I also think colour can give you really sharp definition which in some circustances might help you.

Think about using filters. I'm no expert but I've seen some pretty impressive results on colour from the right filter. Without going crazy with effects you can really add atmosphere to a scene.

What I like is toning down the colour just touch which can give a sort of twilight effect or something akin to looking at the world in the light of a partial eclipse. We had one in my part of the world a couple of years back and everything looked so spookey. Not just darker than normal but spookey!

I blether on!

Sorry - good pictures.

some very nice pictures you've shot Nick :) always been a fan of shots like these.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
