how do i capture form input, and put into a mySQL db AS A variable?? i can input literals directly into, so the connect, etc is working. just the var part shows up blank.

my $stmt1 = "INSERT INTO registration1a (social, location, name) VALUES ('ggg.gg.gggg', 'Charlotte', '$realname')";
$rc = $dbh->do($stmt1);

see the '$varname'? how to get input from the form??

in advance, thank you for your time and expertise:happy:

probably got it by now, but what the hell :)

something like (i think)

varible =$FORM{'formitemname'}

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
