PCI RAID or External HD

Overclocked Like A Mother
Hi all,

I am currently using a USB external HD setup for backups. It has two HD in a RAID1 setup.

I am really not pleased about it's data transfer speeds.

Wondering if I move to an internal PCI RAID1 card instead, if the data transfer speeds would be better.

I have a Promise TX2300 PCI RAID card, ready to use.

This would not hold the OS, just files and backups.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
