Could anyone tell me if it is safe to change the default setting for the PCI latency timer in the BIOS from 64 to 32?

I presently have 3 PCI cards - USB 2.0 card, TV card and Video card. As an experiment I found that the slight digital artifacts you sometimes get around fast-moving images were slightly reduced by changing the setting from 64 to 32. However, for the time being, I changed it back to 64 as I did not know what other problems I might get as a result of doing this!

Any info appreciated.

Thanks, Alan

Thanks for the information. Having followed the links I get the imnpression that unless you know what you are doing you should leave the BIOS defaults well alone!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
