a friend of mine asked me what the difference between pc3500 ddr and pc3000 ddr was. i have no idea. so could somone help us out. she would also like to know what the numbers after pc mean. thanks in advance.
PC 3000 DDR is made to run up to 366MHz and has an effective bandwidth of 3 gigabytes per second. PC 3500 DDR is made to run up to 433MHz and has an effective bandwidth of 3.5 gigabytes per second. 3000 = 3 GB, 3500 = 3.5 GB, see how it works?
