Hey everyone, another n00b here.
I have a problem that seems to be pretty normal, but it won't respond to any of the solutions. Here's my scenario:
I have a 2 computer network. Both computers are a member of the same workgroup. On PC1, I can see both PC1 and PC2 when I view the workgroups, but I can only access PC1. On PC2, I can't even see PC1 in the workgroup list. I have shared directories on both computers.
I can't ping PC2 from PC1, and my router doesn't pick up it's name, only it's IP.
I tried changing my restrictanonymous to 0 as reccomended by previous posts, and I have the same username and password on both systems.
Can anyone help with this please?
Thanks. applovr
