pc cannot find cdrom+cd burner

my pc cannot find the cd rom and my cd burner!!!!
i know i have to change something in my registry,but i dont know what!this means that i cannot play cdroms!!
i think it is caused by nero cd creator!
who can help me!!!!

Are they listed in your devise manager, and do you have Nero installed?

Happend to me a couple of days ago. Deleted and reinstalled Both drives and that still didn't help. Removed Nero No help either. But I could see them in my device manager but not in windows explorer.
This is the Fix

In the Registry

Remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters values completely from the following registry
key:


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro
l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
