Password

does anyone know how to disable the logon password expiry time. I have had XP installed for over a month ,although i have no password for logging on with i get the warning at the WELCOME screen (Password expiry in 10 days) and counting. I have disabled all i can find in the administrators tools but it keeps appearing unless i increasee the amount of days before the password requires changed.

I think this is what your looking.

Control panel> Administrative tools> Local Security Policy> Securtiy setting> Account Policy Click the + and open password policy> In the box on the right set the Maximum password Age to large number of days. At least a couple of hundered. I think thats what your looking. Hope this helps

Just reread your post. Have you tried O for the number of days. Mines set at 999. I'll upgrade to another OS by the time it expires.
