Hey guys,

I booted up my XP Pro machine for the first time this morning, and low and behold I got one of those "Password will expire in 11 days, do you want to change it...." popups.

I don't use any logon passwords on this machine. How can I remove this popup?

Thanks

Heeter

right click on my computer, go to manage
then user accounts, select your account (right click & go to properties), and tick "password never expires"

I can't right click on the account.

Is there maybe a regedit for this instead?

Thanks kC

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
