Is there away in WinXP to password protect a folder or a sub-directory of folders? Thanks.

why not just assign proper NTFS permissions?

You could give this a go. It works in XP. Right click the setup.inf file & select 'Install'.

Reboot, then right click / properties on a folder to see the security tab.

I purchased a program called Password Manager XP. You can find it here:

www.cp-lab.com

I think they have a free download that will work for a few weeks to demo the program. I liked it so much a bought it.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
