Password protected Areas XP/Win98

I have a home network with one WinXP Pro machine and one Win98SE machine.

From my WinXP Pro machine I rty to access my C drive on my Win98 machine I am asked for a password. I enter the password but WinXP does not do anything, I cannot get into my win98 C drive.

Why?

Anyone can help?

Create a user account on the win98 machine to the same one that you are using to logon to the XP box

Check the share properties on the 98 machine. Either change it where it does not require a password or assign it the same password you use when logging into your XP box.
