password expires in 6 days

Hi

A friend of mine recently gets a notice that her password will expire in a few days and she gets the option to renew it but.
She doesn't use a password at her login screen nor anywhere else on the pc (except email,... )

Does anybody know of an answer to this (should she change the password or can she leave it blanc?) she is using windows xp prof(corporate edition)

Follow these steps:

1) Start->Run and enter "CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2"

2) Go to the "Advanced" tab

3) Click the "Advanced" button under "Advanced User Management"

4) Open the "Users" folder and right click the username in question and click "Properties"

5) Check the box "Password Never Expires" and click OK.

That should stop the message
